While not every mobile app for music production offers the full meal of a professional desktop DAW, they’re becoming more useful, powerful, intuitive, and integrative than ever before. Midi Commander is an app we think should be an essential for any Android based musician. This one’s also exclusive for iOS users, and it’s perfect for capturing those spur-of-the-moment melodies or beat ideas.
